Turtle

The turtle courses focus on the core function "Float", which means that you experience the buoyancy in the water. The conscious experience that the water "carries" the body is absolutely central in the swimming training. The flow is affected by the body's posture, and not least breathing. The prerequisite for floating is that as much of the body as possible is under water. Therefore, floating follows diving. After completing the course, students should master the following Hold your breath -> float on your stomach -> line posture Hold your breath -> float on your back -> line posture -> breathe Hold your breath -> jump from the pool edge -> float up on your stomach -> line posture Hold your breath -> float on your stomach -> line posture -> turn on your back -> breathe -> line postureKeep your breath -> float -> balance on stomach and back in line posture with adapted breathing Requirements for minimum height in the various pools Skjetten: 110cmVigernes, Sagdalen, Åsenhagen: 115cmSten-Tærud: 117cmEnebakk : 115cm We offer swimming courses for children at Nedre Romerike in Skedsmo-, Enebakk- and Lørenskog municipality by the following pools: Skjetten, Åsenhagen, Sten-Tærud, Skedsmotun, Sagdalen, Frydenlund, Vigernes, Volla and Rolvsrud.
