Training groups


The vision of Triton Lillestrøm swimming and triathlon club is: Everyone swims!

Our dream is a society where everyone swims. Everyone is able to swim and is active in water in order to stay in shape. Swimming and triathlon are popular sports for the general public and the elite.

Therefore, our groups are divided into a competition groups and training groups. 

In the Competition Groups, you face challenges in the form of competitions and the amount of training, and you have set yourself a goal of constantly getting better. In the training groups, you meet training-happy children and young people, but how much you want to train is up to you. The parties are suitable for children and young people who can swim from before. 

If you are between 7 and 10 years old and come from a course, the recruit groups are the right place to start. Here we focus on teaching you the best possible technique and eventually you get the opportunity to participate in recruiting conventions and internal conventions.

Training group 4 - T4

T4 is intended for children aged 9-11 years. The T4 party is an option for children at sea lion, dolphin and shark level, but where you absolutely can not swim twice a week. We work with the same sub-goals (chest, plane and turns), although T4 does not have the same framework as swimming courses (sea lion, dolphin and shark). At the beginning of each swimming practice, there is a warm-up on land followed by a swim in the pool. It is common to swim on the T4 part for a long time, before you are ready to try on the T3 part.

Training group 3 - T3

T3 is intended for young people aged 11 to 13 who want to stay in shape, and who want to use swimming as a form of exercise. The party is suitable for young people who can swim from before. This means that they can roughly coordinate Crawl, Back and Chest in advance. It is possible to participate in competitions, but you must register via your coach.

Training group 2 - T2

T2 is intended for young people aged 12 to 14 who want to stay in shape, and who want to use swimming as a form of exercise. The party is suitable for young people who can swim from before. This means that they can roughly coordinate Crawl, Back and Chest in advance. It is possible to participate in competitions, but you must register via your coach.

Training group 1 - T1

This party is intended for young people aged 14-19 / 20 who want to stay in shape, and who want to use swimming as a form of exercise. The party is suitable for young people who master swimming. This means that they manage to do crawl, back and chest in an advanced level, that they can kick and that they have some knowledge of buterfly. In addition, it is expected that one can swim between 2500 and 3500 during 2 hours of training. Swimmers must be able to swim at least 400 without stopping. The focus on the training will be the development of fitness and strength, as well as further development of technical skills. Both sprints and longer distances are part of the training. Here, the focus will be on techniques aimed at specific types of swimming, turns (including work in and out of the wall) and diving. The land training is aimed at basic training with a focus on, among other things, stability and core muscles.

Get on training to train and have it socialDevelop technical skills at the level you are at. Develop good attitudes related to training. Push your limits, dare to get tired.
