Public bathing autumn 2020

On Saturdays, Triton Lillestrøm swimming and triathlon club arranges public bathing, also called Folkebad, in Volla swimming hall. This is an excellent weekend activity for the whole family, both for the younger ones who like to play and the older ones who want to swim. We divide the pool into play areas and swimming areas. 

We also have some equipment such as swimming caps and swimming goggles that can be purchased (due to the infection control rules, it will unfortunately not be possible to borrow swimming caps / swimming goggles). Remember to bring a padlock for wardrobes. 

A swimming cap is mandatory in all our swimming pools! Children under the age of 12 and children who cannot swim must bring an adult with them to the pool.
Infection control rules:
 Triton Lillestrøm takes the infection control rules seriously. Several guidelines have been introduced, which make public swimming possible. 
  • All visitors will be listed when they arrive / leave the swimming pool (name and telephone number, as well as time for the visit) 
  • All visitors must use antibacterial alcohol sanitiser when arriving to the swimming pool, and during the stay in the swimming pool (NB: also before / after toilet visits)
  • All visitors must keep at least 1 meter distance to other households
  • All personal belongings must be placed in a closet, nothing can be placed on the benches or taken into the swimming pool
  • Triton Lillestrøm has increased the frequency of cleaning of contact surfaces in the swimming pool 

All visits to the swimming pool are at your own risk. Together we can ensure that everyone has a good experience when visiting the swimming pool and at the same time we can help reducing the infection of the corona virus.

Opening hours for Volla Swimming Hall

Opening hours: Saturdays at 10.00-18.00 (all visitors must get out of the water at 1730). 
The last opening day before the Christmas holidays will be Saturday 19 December 2020.

Wardrobes: Separate ladies' and men's wardrobes
Lifeguards: Trained lifeguards with an approved lifesaving test will be in the swimming pool. Swimming is at your own risk!
